Update or reinstall the Windows Media Player Once the Graphic Equalizer is displayed, make sure all settings are at least halfway up. To check this setting, click View, Enhancements, Graphic Equalizer.
If the equalizer is all turned down, you may experience sound related issues. If the location you downloaded the file did not contain a link to download the codec as well, see our codec definition for additional options. Essentially, they both need to speak the same "language" so they may communicate. However, the proper codec needs to be installed for the Media Player to read the movie. If only some of the movies you're playing do not get sound, it's likely you have a codec issue.

In general the pc is working, only the cyberlink program is not working. The program always worked fine, but when I tried to watch a workout dvd on 4/17/17 it didn't open. You should be able to resolve the problem by moving your desktop windows and exposing the entire Media Player application window. I've seen this behavior in other applications as well under similar circumstances. The Media Player application uses the desktop window to navigate, and if another program is above it, it will not be able to 'click' the interface. "I've duplicated similar problems when the Steam Media Player application window on your desktop monitor is minimized, or if the application window is below or hidden by another window.
